After reading the reference letters for Mr. Chris Clark, it is very difficult to find new applicable words as they have all been used and each one is very deserving and certainly apply to Mr. Clark such as: professionalism, dedication, conscientious and meticulous, courteous, and punctual and most important EXCELLENT WORK!

We, and apartment complex rental office, asked Mr. Clark to restore our foyer and mahogany double entrance doors each with a lot of scroll detail. These are the original doors, 35 years, of which is the pride of the owners Mr. Max E. Borges, Sr. and son.
When Mr. Borges saw these doors for the first time after Mr. Clark finished, he said and I quote: “I have never seen such a beautiful restoration – I didn’t think this was possible.”  We have had many daily compliments of Mr. Clark’s workmanship.

Chris Clark spent last week working on the front doors of our home in Alexandria. We are very proud of our home, and the entranceway is in many ways the defining aspect of our architecture. Thus we were most hopeful that the work of refinishing the doors be done with the highest level of care and workmanship.
Mr. Clark certainly fulfilled our hopes. He labored patiently each day in outdoor conditions, meticulously doing the detailed steps necessary to achieve top quality. He kept us informed of his progress and was always considerate in avoiding any inconvenience to us.

Mr. Clark’s work on restoring and refinishing the historic 1889 stairwell has been excellent. He is undoubtedly and expert in his craft.  I have noticed that his work is characterized by preciseness, neatness, and an interest in doing superior work. He obviously takes great pride in his work. 

I appreciate his work on the stairwell and he has made a notable contribution to an important historic home at DuPont Circle which is the only remaining residential home in the immediate area for the nineteenth century.  I will certainly provide any references regarding his superior work in my home.
